It all started in 1939 when Mark Terrell opened shop in Phoenix. In the 1950s, Mark passed the business on to his son, Gene, who grew Terrell Battery Corp. into the state’s most respected battery company. With a focus on customer service, fair pricing, and unbeatable knowledge, Gene created a brand that people in Arizona could trust. After Gene’s passing in 2022, the company was entrusted to Roger Culver, who proudly continues the legacy. We offer on-site battery and charger inspections complete with detailed performance reports. Especially for forklifts, solar arrays, and backup power systems, staying on top of battery health is crucial. Often, battery issues are actually charger-related — our experienced techs know how to troubleshoot both and fix small problems before they become big ones.

Battery Reconditioning and Repairs

Need a rebuild or restoration? We offer full shop evaluations and can pick up your battery, leave a loaner, and take yours in for full reconditioning. That includes:

Battery Recycling

Battery disposal isn’t just a technical issue — it’s a legal one. Improper disposal can come back to haunt you, even years later. We help you avoid that with responsible, traceable recycling services — right here in Phoenix. We specialize in lead-acid batteries. We provide battery death certificates if requested. Please note that we cannot take Lithium at this time.

All of our services are performed in-store in Phoenix. However, we can offer in-field battery inspection and support for industrial accounts by arrangement.

Can I buy batteries online from your store?
